UMass Boston's Powers that Be Take a Stand on War In Ukraine

The war between Russia and Ukraine prompts UMass Boston to take action against the aggressor.

The Russia-Ukraine war is ongoing, no end in sight, and the situation is indeed tragic.

The Ukrainian student organization at UMass Boston expressed dismay and concern about the Russian invasion, as well as the Leadership’s and the Union's relative silence in the matter. The organization’s student representative, Maria Kravchuk, called upon the Union Comrades and the Leadership to consider a boycott or academic sanctions as a way to apply pressure on the aggressors.
